Little Island features 35 species of trees, 65 species of shrubs, and 290 varieties of grasses, vines, and perennials. There are more than 66,000 bulbs. Most of the plants are native and selected to create habitat for pollinators and bird species. They offer year-round character, so the colors and textures evolve in response to the seasons.
