The Project hosted a signing celebration for Senate Bill 423, an update to Senate Bill 35 sponsored by State Senator Scott Weiner. Kapuso at the Upper Yard was one of the first developments in San Francisco and California to utilize Senate Bill 35, which expedites the creation of new affordable housing, bypassing traditional approval roadblocks to streamline affordable housing approvals.
