“What a delight. It seems the beating heart has returned to this corner of the Commons. One bench a young couple canoodling, another bench a young couple having lunch, two women at another bench looking over some paperwork, another bench a couple of seniors chatting, another bench a young man and his dog. Two strollers with their moms. Two benches with their solitary occupants, three different bicyclists and further down the promenade the benches filled with people reading books. A few people strolling and taking pictures and all of it softened by the melody of the fountain's water. Even Lifeflight sounds a bit softer!” — Derris Jeffcoat, Local Resident
