Projects like West Eau Claire Park are a once in a lifetime opportunity. As a landscape architect, planner and municipal employee it was a privilege to work on such a wonderful project that enriches both the community and the city. This project not only checks off the boxes for standard measurement of a successful project (on time and on budget) but delivered above what was expected. True success is when a public space is well-used and well-loved, and that each time you visit you can experience something new. West Eau Claire Park achieves this and so much more. It brought together multiple disciplines to solve complex city-building challenges. In the end, all that took part in the project, from the client to the design team to the contractor and the local suppliers, are extremely proud of the executed work and have forged a life-long relationship.
