The planning commission's initial direction called for passive recreation and a dog park. The community quickly took hold of this and saw this as a real gathering space for the many young families moving to the area. From the first Working Session with the community, a unique play experience for kids was top of mind. As a development team, we quickly realized that a great playground would be a magnet to drive the food hall.
